Multilingual sports broadcast Journalist, Jasmine Joe Debrah of Happy [98.9] FM has been appointed as the press attaché for team Mali in the upcoming WAFU [West Africa Football Union] tournament.

As part of his role, Joe Debrah is expected to meet the Malian team today at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra and lead the entourage through all the necessary protocol arrangements before guiding them to their final destination – Cape Coast.

In 2015, Joe Debrah performed a similar role at the African Cup of Nations [AFCON] where he served as an interpreter for the Confederation of African Football [CAF].

The 16-nation tournament [WAFU] will take place in Cape Coast and Elmina from September 09 to September 24, 2017.

Mali will play its first match of the sub regional competition on Monday against Mauritania at the Cape Coast Stadium.
