The capital city of Ghana will go yellow on Saturday, August 05, 2017 as Old Students of Accra Academy Senior High School otherwise known as ‘Bleobii’ jumps on the street of Accra to celebrate its annual homecoming event.

One of the key activities to watch out for in this year’s homecoming event is the fun games which is going to be held at the newly constructed Asamoah Gyan Sports Centre, a magnificent edifice erected by an old student of Accra Academy – Asamoah ‘The Baby Jet’ Gyan.

The various year groups will engage in interesting competitions such as football, volleyball, table tennis, athletics, tug-of-peace, oware, ludo, playing cards, draught, Armwrestling, and the almighty jama competition.

According to the organizers of the Accra ‘Aca’ homecoming, the essence of the fun games is to maintain the peaceful relationship between the various year groups.

Established on July 20, 1931 by four young guys – K.G. Konuah [27], G.N. Alema [29], J.A. Halm-Addo [29], and S.N. Awuletey [26], Accra Academy Senior High School has grown to become one of the best second cycle institutions in Ghana.
