The Black Stars of Ghana are likely to camp in Germany ahead of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Drawn in Group G against the likes of Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, and South Africa, the Black Stars will begin the qualifiers for the Mundial next month.
In view of this, a special committee has been set up with the aim of searching for an ideal place devoid of external interruptions to the playing body as soon as possible.
One other reason that has accounted for this move by the FA is the current inconvenience arising out of travel restrictions.
The committee, according to www.sports24ghana.com checks will depart from Ghana to Europe early next week with Germany as the first destination.
The Black Stars have been tasked by President Addo-Danquah Akufo-Addo to at least reach the semi final phase of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana’s first ever appearance at the Mundial was in Germany 2006 where The Black Stars exited at the 1/6th stage, losing to Brazil.
However, the Black Stars improved on its performance in South Africa where the team reached the quarter finals, losing to Uruguay through penalty shootouts.
Meanwhile, Ghana witnessed its worst ever performance at the Mundial during the Brazil 2014 tournament where the Black Stars did not make it out of the group phase.
