Ghana came from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Benin in an international friendly match at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday, May 25, 2017 as the Black Stars ‘B’ began preparations ahead of the Championship of African Nations [CHAN] tournament.
The Beninese took advantage of Ghana’s shivering start into the game to register an early goal when Richard Ofori came out to punch a cross straight into the path of Ibrahim Ogoulola who was lurking in the eighteen yard box to knock the ball into the net.

Awal Mohamed pulled parity for Ghana before the break through the spot.
The Black Stars were gifted with numerical advantage in the second half as defender Osseni Ayide went into the red pocket of referee Prosper Adii but the visitors defended in their numbers till the blast of the final whistle leaving the game 1-1 apiece.
