The Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association [JAAA] has released the list of strong 70-member team that will represent the third-largest island of the Greater Antilles and the Caribbean at the 2022 Commonwealth Games scheduled to be held in Birmingham, England from July 28 to August 08.

National back-to-back champion – Shericka Jackson, fastest woman alive – Elaine Thompson-Herah, and the current world champion, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce have all been named in the team that’ll be unleashed on the West Midlands in England to compete fo honors.

Meanwhile, 2011 world champion – Yohan Blake and Oblique Seville will be missing in the men’s team but Jamaica can count on the likes of Olympic 110 metre hurdles gold medallist – Hansle Parchment, Rasheed Dwyer, and Akeem Blake to make amends.
