Lots of fireworks awaits this weekend as the maiden edition of the Tertiary Football League [TFL] enters its second week with some nerve cracking games at the University of Ghana school park as well as the Paa Joe Stadium [KNUST] in the Garden City.

In the southern zone, Marshall University College will call the bluff of the Ghana Technology University College at the University of Ghana Park in Legon whiles the second match will witness an epic clash between All Nations University and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration [GIMPA].

In the northern zone, however, Christian Service University College will lock horns with Kumasi Technical University whiles the University of Education [Kumasi] entertains Baptist University College.

The 2017 Tertiary Football League [TFL] involves six [6] teams from two zones – Northern and Southern.

Matchday one of the competition saw the University of Ghana been held to a 2-2 drawn game by highly motivated Accra Technical University in the southern zone. In the northern zone, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology [KNUST] demolished Garden City University College by 4-2.

Meanwhile, the Operations Manager of Betway Ghana [proud sponsors of the Tertiary Football League], Mr. Kwabena Oppong Nkrumah is expecting nothing short of complete excitement as the competition surges on and also pledged that his outfit is committed to sports development in the country.
