Instead of casting innuendos at his opponent after losing 1-2 to Hearts of Oak, coach Bashir Hayford rather used the space to shower some praises on the Phobians for giving a good account of themselves in their matchweek 30 game against Legon Cities Football Club on Thursday.

According to coach Bashir Hayford the game was more tactical and the players also delivered to his expectation except that they couldn’t take the chances that came their way:

“It was a tactical game from all angle,” he said.

“The boys understood all they have to do and did it exactly but just missed the chances created.

“I am happy to always see the boys improve match after match.

“Next season, teams should watch out for us. We will continue to improve in all the games left.”

Nicholas Mensah [Legon Cities player] also sang from the same hymn, saying that Hearts proved yesterday that they are indeed a good side.

“We created chances but sad we couldn’t take it. It’s unfortunate.

“But Hearts are a good side and they proved it. Fair results.”
