Captain of the Nigeria female senior national team [Super Falcons], Asisat Oshoala has called on the Nigeria Football Federation [NFF] to organize more quality friendly matches for the team in order to keep them in tune ahead of tournaments.

“We, the players, have been discussing with the NFF to organise more games for us,” she said.

Oshoala who won the best player at the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup further advanced that cohesion in team building is very necessary as it helps players to bond well.

“Apart from the qualifiers, the team needs to meet often to make it easier for the players to blend well. This is why other teams in Europe are ahead of us.

“I believe after the sports lockdown, the NFF will look on it,” she said.

Asisat Oshoala is undoubtedly the best player of her generation having won the African Women’s Footballer of the Year award on four different occasions.
