Ghanaian midfielder and former player of Belgian Pro League side [Kortrijk], Asiedu Attobrah has thrown a challenge to the Black Stars B team to go all out and beat the Super Eagles today as the two West African giants clash in their third Group A game of the 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations.

The Black Stars B booked their qualification to the next phase of the competition last Saturday having pipped Mali 1-0 through Winful Cobbinah’s second half masterstroke, but Asiedu Attobrah believes that the players will have their names written in gold should they sweep aside the Super Eagles to maintain their 100% record.

“Our boys, I must admit have really improved in their last two games against Guinea and Mali but looking at the rivalry between Ghana and Nigeria I will urge them to go all out and beat the Super Eagles because beating Nigeria will earn them the traditional bragging right,” the former New Edubiase United skillful attacking midfielder said on Happy [98.9] FM on Sunday, September 17.

“Winful Cobbinah showed exceptional class in his last outing but I wish he doubles that performance in the Ghana vs. Nigeria game because a defeat against the Super Eagles could affect the morale of the players,” he adds.

Ghana is atop the Group A table with 6 points whiles Nigeria sits second with just two points.
