Theodore Asampong fittingly took the glory, having golf very hard on Friday, September 28 at the Celebrity Golf Club in Sakumono to win the coveted MTN Invitational Golf Tournament, beating Geoffrey Avornyotse to post the necessary points needed to reach the winning total; 19:13 = 32.
It was a ding-dong battle between Asampong and Avornyotse but these early skirmishes proved fruitless in the final analyses as the former [Theodore Asampong] took the latter [Geoffrey Avornyotse] to the brink with chest-thumping victory.
Asampong fired his tee shots with panache having come into the tournament with the right attitude.
Agnes Adams also scored a winning total of 37 points to win the ladies event ahead of Vida Anang who scored 34 points.
