Captain of the Ghana Black Stars, Dr. Asamoah Gyan has revealed that he has sunk a whooping GHC5 million into charity through his Baby Jet Foundation.
“We have spent over 5m GHC on charity and social intervention programmes,” the Kayserispor Kulubu striker revealed at the commissioning ceremony of the Asamoah Gyan Sports Centre in Accra Academy Senior High School on Tuesday, July 18, 2017.
Asamoah Gyan also intimated that his outfit [Baby Jet Foundation] is committed to providing educational support to deserving students.
“We will also provide scholarship support at all levels of education up to the masters level,” he said.
Baby Jet Promotions, a subsidiary company of the Asamoah Gyan group of companies has also produced a world boxing champion – Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe who holds the IBO lightweight title.
