The return of Ghanaian forward – Andre Ayew was all, but what Swansea City needed to book their Sky Bet Championship play-off qualification.

The Black Stars captain has not been in action lately due to injury, but Andre actually scored in Swansea City’s much fought 2-2 draw game with Reading at the Madejski this afternoon.

Swansea City dominated much of the first stanza but fell behind against the run of play when Yakou Meite nodded home in the 31st minute to put Reading in front.

Andre Ayew and Jamal Lowe scored in turns from the break to put the Swans ahead, but Esteves’ late strike denied Swansea City victory, but that was not enough to block their qualification.

The draw means the Swans have officially book their place in the Sky Bet Championship play-offs alongside Barnsley and Bournemouth, as well as already-qualified Brentford.
