Black Stars captain – André Ayew has been included in the Sky Bet Championship playoff combine XI due to his outstanding performance for Swansea City in the 2019/2020 season.
The second son of Abedi Pele, André has been just brilliant in England’s second tier this season, scoring 15 goals and seven assists to help the Swans earn playoff qualification.
The Ghanaian attacking midfielder yielded a rating of 7.35 [the most highest scored player in the Championship playoff combine XI] for his over all contribution for the Swans.
The combine XI was picked from four playoff sides – Brentford [four players], Fulham [three players], Cardiff [two players] and Swansea City [two players].
Like André Ayew, Swansea skipper – Matt Grimes is the second and final Swansea representative in the combined XI. Grimes also laid on seven assists and was a tackling machine for the Swans this term having made more tackles [130] than any other Championship player.

Brentford vs. Swansea City [Wednesday, July 29]
