Mysteriously attractive media personality and host of Ladies Time on Asempa [94.7] FM – Mavis Amanor has been adjudged the Best Sports Presenter of the Year at the 2021 Ghana Media and Entrepreneurship Awards [GMAEA] held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra on Saturday, October 23.
Mavis, a member of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana [SWAG] has played key roles in the Ghanaian sporting industry including serving on the seven-member Ghana Football Association Club Licensing Board.
Her influence in the industry earned her two nominations – Outstanding Women Empowerment TV/Radio Show as well as Outstanding Woman Sports Journalist at the 2020 Ghana Outstanding Women Awards [GOWA].
The theme for the GMAEA was ‘Re-awakening the Giant; Maximising Ghana’s Investment Potentials’ is aimed at creating a platform for a national conversation on inspiring, and re-igniting the passion for business excellence among young Ghanaian media practitioners and business minds.
The Ghana Media and Entrepreneurship Awards [GMEA] aims at honoring and celebrate young enterprising individuals and corporate bodies.
