Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has congratulated the Black Stars B team for their great performance against Burkina Faso in their opening match of the 2018 CHAN [Championship of African Nations] qualifiers.

Speaking on Happy [98.9] FM on Sunday, August 13 the former Udinese midfielder who visited the team at their camping base whilst on holidays was full of praise for the team’s impressive showing in Ouagadougou [Burkina Faso] on Saturday where the Black Stars B held their Burkinabe counterpart to a 2-2 drawn game.

“The players are very committed and hungry for success so I wasn’t surprised at the score line at all. I could see that their main aim is to get the opportunity to play for the main Black Stars or use the B side as a catalyst for foreign contract.”

The Black Stars midfielder [Badu] who featured for Bursaspor in their 0-1 away defeat to Istanbul Basaksehir on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Fatih Terim Stadium in Istanbul [Turkey] also advised the team against complacency going into the second leg.

“Burkina Faso will also try to get a positive result when they visit Ghana but I believe the Black Stars B will put the first leg results behind them and win the game to give them the qualification they are hunting for,” Agyemang-Badu added.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu [26] who played seven seasons in Italy for Udinese has join Turkish Super Lig side, Bursaspor on a season long loan.
