Aduana Stars sudden jump to the apex of the Ghana Premier League table looks threatened as they face regional rivals Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park today.
The league leaders [Aduana Stars] began the second round on a flying note having washed off Bechem United in another Brong Ahafo derby by 3-0 last week at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa.
Meanwhile, Berekum Chelsea suffered a lone goal defeat at the hands of Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium on matchday 16 which means they have to get their buttocks kicking beginning from their epic clash with the leaders.
Berekum Chelsea does not have the luxury of losing a point against Aduana judging from their position on the league ladder. The Blues [Chelsea] are currently occupying the seventh [7th] position with 22 points, same as Bechem United and just a point difference between them and the ninth placed team – Inter Allies.
The match is going to be very tough judging from the materials at the disposal of both teams, but the team with a great second half tactical plan is likely to run home with a slim victory.
