Adenta Tusk played the final game of the 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II and walked away with a 68-59 win over Swanlakers.

The game was expected to be the final game of the first round but turned out to be the final game of the shortened season.

Despite the change, Tusk stuck to their guns and punished Swanlakers from the perimeter with the team burying its opponent with strokes beyond the three point arc.

The win gives Adenta six wins in nine games and keeps them in fourth place while Swanlakers stay put in ninth place with two wins to its name.

Adenta Tusk led 19-9 in the first quarter after draining four three point shots with Bajigah Mohammed getting in on the act.

Tusk led 30-25 at the end of the first half. After falling behind by eight points, Swanlakers rallied to tie the game at 41 with 2:03 remaining in the third quarter.

Tusk responded late in the quarter to regain its lead via a 47-43 lead. Swanlakers mounted another challenge to reduce deficit to two 52-54 with five minutes left. However, Tusk dug deep to hit big baskets down the stretch to win 68-59.
