Nana Kwame Aboagye Mensah, Special Aide to Manhyia Chief of Staff has revealed that the Asante Kotoko training facility in Adako Jachie will soon be renovated to meet modern standard.

Speaking to Ohene-Bampoe Brenya on Happy [98.9] FM on Friday, Mr. Aboagye Mensah said the club deserves to follow the best practices done by bigger teams in Europe, hence the need for the upgrade:

“We want Kotoko to look like a professional club, so we are planning to invest into the Adako Jachie project.

“We want to follow best practices done by bigger teams such as Manchester United, Real Madrid, amongst others.”

According to Mr. Aboagye Mensah, the newly constituted board of Asante Kotoko have been urged to build a strong youth team.

Manhia on Thursday, May 28, named a nine-member Board of Directors to steer the affairs of Asante Kotoko.
