Coach of the Leone Stars [Sierra Leone], Aabubakar Tos Kamara has laid his team’s defeat to Nigeria at the doorstep of naivety on the part of his players in front of goal.

Sierra Leone lost 0-2 to Nigeria at the Cape Coast Stadium on Monday, September 11, 2017 in the ongoing WAFU Cup being hosted by Ghana but Kamara is of the view that the story could have been different if his players had taken their chances.

“If you don’t make good use of your opportunity they correct you. It was lack of concentration that caused us,” Aabubakar Kamara said in a post match interview.

The Leone Stars were a delight to watch as they match the Super Eagles boot-for-boot but their profligacy in the goal area caused them the passage into the group phase of the competition.

Coach Kamara however believes that the organization of the West Africa Football Union [WAFU] tournament hasn’t been bad but could be improved.
