The team bus of Asante Kotoko was involved in a fatal accident on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
The Porcupine Warriors [Asante Kotoko] were returning to their traditional home [Kumasi] after losing 0-1 to Inter Allies in their matchday 22 game of the Ghana Premier League played at the El Wak stadium in Accra.
According to a report from the camp of Kotoko, the bus ran into a stationary vehicle around 9:45pm. The casualties were quickly rushed to the Nkawkaw Holy Family Hospital for treatment.
