The Local Organizing Committee [LOC] of the 2023 African Games has revealed that the mascot and logo for the continental multi-sport event is going to be outdoor-ed in April, 2021.
Speaking to some Ghanaian online journalists in Accra on Wednesday, March 24, Dr. Owusu Ansah [A member of the LOC] explained that the technical committee received a total of sixty  designs from various graphic designers from which three  has been shortlisted for consideration.
Dr. Owusu Ansah further submitted that the three graphic designers has been tasked by the committee to go and fine-tune their designs and bring it back to the technical committee to select the one that will best fit to be used for the 2023 African Games.
The African Games, formerly All-African Games is a continental multi-sport event held every four years, organized by the African Union [AU] with the Association Olympic Committee of Africa [ANOCA] and the Association of African Sports Confederations [AASC].
The last edition of the Games was held in Rabat, Morocco from August 19 – 31, 2019.
