A last minute goal from Issah Ibrahim helped Dreams Football Club to beat Medeama Sporting Club 2-1 on Sunday at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.

Former Hearts of Oak attacker – Joseph Esso broke the deadlock in the highly entertaining game in the 14th minute having taken advantage of Ibrahim Yaro’s defensive error to punish the visitors.

The Mauve and Yellows [Medeama] re grouped and took control of the game but they could not find the back of the net in the first half.

But, Godfred Kwadwo Asamoah pulled parity for the visitors in the 72nd minute as he tapped in from a close angle.

With the game seemingly ending in a draw, Ibrahim Yaro brought down Dreams FC’s tormentor-in-chief [Joseph Esso] in the goal area which the referee whistled for a penalty.
