Swansea City forward – Andre Ayew has urged his teammates to keep fighting until the dream of realising a Premier League shot is finally achieved.

The Welsh side [Swansea] survived a late Barnsley surge at the Liberty Stadium yesterday to book a Sky Bet Championship final date with Brentford at Wembley on May 29 for a place in the Premier League.

Matt Grimes gave the Swans the lead in the 39th minute with a superb strike, but Barnsley were given hope of turning the tie around when Cauley Woodrow fired home in the 71st minute to end the full-blooded affair in draw.

This means that the Swans dream of playing another Premier League football is on course after 2-1 aggregate victory.

Andre Ayew, who had settled the first game with a brilliant individual goal went on his social media page after the game to urge his teammates on whiles thanking the 3,000 supporters [Jack Army] that showed up at the Liberty Stadium:

“Love it boys, What a team, Jack Army ur unbelievable so happy seeing u again.

“1 more to go !! We keep going YJB.”
