MTN Ghana takes an exceptional interest in sports, says Samuel Addo

General Manager [MTN Business] Mr. Samuel Addo has said that the mobile telecommunications giant takes a keen interest in sports.

Mr. Addo revealed this at the second edition of the MTN Invitational Golf Tournament held at the Achimota Golf Club, Accra on Friday, July 06, 2018.

“I am sure by now many of you are aware that MTN Ghana takes an exceptional interest in sports and gold for that matter,” Mr. Addo noted.

“Apart from supporting the development of Ghana through the provision of digital solutions and through our Corporate Social Investments we are happy to support sports and entertainment,” he added.

The MTN Invitational Golf Tournament – A tournament for champions is a special initiative of telecommunications giant [MTN Ghana] with the aim of bringing together CEO’s under one umbrella to socialize and network whilst promoting the sport – golf.

Mr. Addo further reiterated the need for customers to come on board to own a part of the greatest business family in Ghana [MTN] by becoming a shareholder of the company:
“MTN has opened its doors to new partners as we offer ordinary shares to the Ghanaian public.

“As our partners, we are using this medium to invite you to own part of the nation’s largest telecommunications network through our initial share offer.”

The club and ball sport [Golf] which has the ability to inculcate values such as tenacity and fortitude is still struggling to gain foothold on the apex of the Ghanaian sports landscape, but MTN nonetheless continues to offer its support in divers ways.
