Coach James Kwesi Appiah’s name will surely be on the trending board in the next three hours for his decision to dropping Asamoah Gyan in his starting line-up whiles Jordan and Andre Ayew makes the cut as Ghana come face-to-face with Ethiopia this afternoon.

The two brothers [Jordan and Andre] have not started a game for the Black Stars in a little over a year now, but the coach believes they are ready to push their weight behind the team.

Below is Kwesi Appiah’s starting line-up:

Goalkeeper – Richard Ofori

Defenders – Harrison Afful, Lumor Agbeyenu, Kassim Nuhu, John Boye

Midfielders – Mubarak Wakaso, Christian Atsu, Thomas Partey, Andre Ayew

Strikers – Emmanuel Boateng, Jordan Ayew

Meanwhile the first gentleman of the state President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo visited the camp of Team Ghana yesterday to charge them up for the task ahead of them as they seek to book qualification to AFCON 2019.

The first match played between the Black Stars and the Walias saw the former thrashing Ethiopia 5-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi last year.

Today’s match at the Bahir Dar stadium is a must win for the Black Stars as any results apart from win could hamper their chances of making it to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
