Despite racing to a National 800 metres Indoor record at the Millrose Games at the New Balance Track and Field Center in New York, Jamaica’s Natoya Goule found herself second best.

Goule, running in the Jack and Lewis Rudin Women’s 800 metres ran a fast 1:59.13 but was still second to the United States’ Ajee Wilson’s World Leading 1:58.60.

Outside of Goule, the race only consisted of US nationals, with the Jamaican finishing ahead of Ce’Aira Brown’s personal best, 1:59.74.

Nobody else would run under two minutes on the day with fourth going to Raevyn Rogers, 2:01.33, fifth to Olivia Baker, 2:03.57, and sixth to Chrishuna Williams, 2:03.58. Kendra Chambers failed to finish the event.
