Coaches and schools representatives of participating teams in the 2019 Sprite Ball Championship have been feted at De’lish Restaurant located close to the schools camping base at the University of Ghana, Legon campus.
The top tier restaurant treated distinguished personalities of Ghana’s biggest high school basketball tournament to sumptuous meals.
This is the second time De’lish Restaurant has treated schools reps prior to the start of the Sprite Ball Championship. The bistro first held the plush event in 2018.
Ghana Basketball Association Vice Chairman Iddrisu Ayambire addressed the gathering after meals highlighting key technical pointers in the competition.
This year’s Sprite Ball runs from Friday, January 11 to Saturday, January 12 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra with Osu PRESEC and Kumasi Girls Senior High School as defending Boys and Girls Division Champions respectively.
12 schools will compete in the Boys Division and eight schools will do battle in the Girls Division at the 13th edition of Sprite Ball.
Sprite Ball is organized by leading Ghanaian sports firm Rite Sports Limited.
