Danielle Williams won herself a diamond, US$50,000 and a place at the IAAF World Championships of Athletics following a commanding performance at the Diamond League meeting in Brussels on Friday.
The 2015 world champion, who was disqualified from the Jamaican national championships in June, outclassed a stacked field that included the world record holder Kendra Harrison, to win in 12.46s.
Harrison was a distant second in 12.73 while her compatriot Nia Ali was third in 12.74.
Williams was the only Jamaican winner on the night as Dina Asher-Smith upstaged pre-race favourite Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce to win the 100m. The Briton won in 10.88s with the Jamaican second in 10.95s. Marie Josee-Ta Lou was third in 11.09.
